In one of the few remaining Ecijano’s courtyards in Seville a particular scenario rises, which we have provided with theatrical lighting, good sound and backdrops… a small theater inside a courtyard! And if sited you look at the sky you see chairs hanging and Seville’s orange trees… a metaphor and tribute to the people that visit us.
Every day the artists cast is changed, so one day you will see an “Alegrias” with a long train dress, shawl or castanets, another a solemn “Seguiriya”, a flamenco “Solea by Bulerias”, a tragic “Taranto”, some sensual “Tangos” or any other dance style or “palo”, as we say here. You can see the difference between male and female flamenco dancing, male and female dancer accompanied by exceptional musicians.
If you like the experience, we have already released the first CD of artists from museum.
All Flamenco Dance Museum’s choreographies are created by Cristina Hoyos.
We are waiting for you… Are you going to miss it?
